Roskilly's Jams & Marmalades

There was always something, through the summer and autumn, bubbling and boiling on Rachel’s Aga.

The farmhouse would fill with a sweet, humid, fruity, aroma. There is nothing quite like coming in from a wet cold autumn day, to the heady mouthwatering steam of the kitchen after a hard day out on the farm. A fresh bit of jam and clotted cream on one of Rachel’s scones - or even as a real treat - a Cornish Split made with creamy milk.

We’ve taken some of Rachael’s best recipes and put them in jars for you to try. The Three Fruit Marmalade seems to be a favourite here. Made with lemons, grapefruit and oranges, it seems to tickle every bit of your taste buds.

A beautifully delicate jam laced with this orange-flavoured brandy, with notes of vanilla. Great on a warm breakfast croissant.

INGREDIENTS:

Sugar, Rhubarb 35%, Strawberries 10%, Grand Marnier Liqueur 5%, Orange Juice, Stabiliser: Pectin, Orange zest.Prepared with 43g of rhubarb & 12g of strawberry per 100g of finished product. Total sugar content 63g per 100g.Allergy Advice: Produced in an environment that also handles Milk, Gluten, Mustard, Sulphites, Fish, Egg, Sesame, Nuts, Soya and Celery.
